How to do makeup for pictures

Hello My Lovey Dovey´s!!

I get a lot of questions on how to do your makeup for pictures and how to take pictures for makeup (if that makes any sense!!)) So a decided to do a 2 part blog on this questions starting with How to do makeup for pictures, and I’m not a professional makeup artist or a professional photographer but I did learn a thing or two from others. So I’m going to give you my takes on how to get the perfect makeup for that picture perfect.

Here is  a step by step on how you should do you’re makeup.

• Primer.

It’s so important that your prime your face and eyelids this is what will help your makeup last longer.

• Foundation

Use foundation that doesn't have SPF, because it will reflect on pics.

• Fill in your Brows

Always fill in your brows to really bring out the bone structure and really bring out the eye makeup.

• Powders

Do not use a HD powder, many people get confused and think that this is for photography and it was never the purpose. When you take a picture you will look like you shove your face in cocaine, Use a Yellow tinted powder, because translucent powders will make you look washed out.

•   Contour and  Highlight

OMG I can’t tell you how important is for you to contour, why? Because you need to define your face this will help you not to look wash out and flat in pictures and also highlight the places where the light hits your face.

• Blush 

Don’t be shy with the blush I suggest you to apply a little bit more than usual so it could really pop on the pic so you don’t look like a ghost.

• Eyes

-Its better if you use a gel black eye liner because it would show up better in pic, its looks more intense.

-Always use false lashes, it gives that final touch to the eyes and they look so define.

-Line your water line with a nude eye liner so that they can appear larger.

• Lips.

You can never go wrong with the lipstick, it could be nudes or a very bold lip, all depends on your makeup.
